JJ Clark is a world renowned elite and collegiate coach. The year 2016 marks his second year as the Head Women’s coach at the University of Connecticut. He has previously led teams to national success at University of Florida and University of Tennessee.
In 2015 benefits of his coaching expertise were evident when the UCONN track and field team was crowned conference champions. Clark is one of the most decorated middle distance coaches in the world. His accomplishments include 22 time coach of the year, and appointment to the 2008 Olympic team coaching staff. His standout performers include numerous NCAA champs, National team members, National Champions, World Champions and Olympians. One of his most notable coaching accomplishments occurred in 2000 when he coached his sisters and wife to a historic sweep of the 2000 Olympic trials.
